Richard Lee Cloud, age 83, died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at a Yukon hospital after a short illness. He was born November 30, 1924 at Vinco, OK to Don and Maude (Walker) Cloud and grew up in the Vinco/Perkins area.

He was a 1943 graduate of Perkins High School and lived in and around Perkins until moving to the State of Washington. He later moved to Spencer, OK where he lived until moving to Mustang. He was a farmer and rancher at heart. He loved raising cattle, horses, goats and other animals. He was an avid quail hunter and loved to play poker. A jack of all trades he had farmed/ranched, worked as a lumber jack and grain elevator builder. In later years he worked for Dist.#1 in Oklahoma County in bridge and road construction until he retired in 1989. He was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives Freda and Flora, one daughter Deborah, five grandchildren, one sister Mary and one brother Cleophas.

Survivors include spouse Grace (Hendrix) Cloud of Yukon, two sons Steve Hendrix and wife Dianne, Roger Lee Cloud all of Mustang, two daughters Threasa Lee Walton and husband J.R. of Mustang and Donna Rae Graefe of Crowley, TX. Also by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, two special brother in laws Charlie and Wilford Boling and a very special nephew Jason.

Services: Saturday, November 29, 2008 in the Chapel of The Good Shepherd at McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang, OK with interment in Perkins Cemetery, Perkins, Oklahoma.
