Fred Ritter was born at Augusta, May 23, 1875. He departed this life August 26, 1937.
He had been in ill health for several years. Two weeks ago he was taken to Ann Arbor.
He was of a sunny disposition, kind to all, a good father. He was a patient sufferer.
He leaves to mourn their loss two children, Mrs. Lem Kizer of Mishawaka, Ind., James Ritter, of Grand Rapids; 2 sisters, Mrs Zella Boyd and Mrs. Henry Taylor of Lawton; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews, besides a host of friends by whom he will be missed.
Funeral services were held from the home of Mrs. Henry Taylor Sunday afternoon a 2 o'clock. The Rev. A. W. Baker officiating.
