Mr. James Michael "Bucky" Clark, 42, died Tuesday morning (December 30, 2008) at Satilla Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Waycross. He was employed through the years by Sapp's Plumbing, General Housing and Wright's Lawn Care. He was also a member of Pineview Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Karen Drawdy Clark of Waycross; one daughter, Marlena Clark of Waycross; his parents, Rubin and Dolores Crapps Clark of Waycross; four siblings, Ralph Bennett (wife Debra) of Millwood, Barbara Ann Smith (husband Denney) of Millwood, Ricky Clark (wife Charlotte) of Waresboro, and Sara Clark of Dalton; his mother-in-law, Marlene Elrod Hester of Waycross; two brothers-in-law, Glenn Drawdy and Jonathan Hester both of Waycross; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday (January 1, 2009) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Telmore Cemetery.
