MARY RUNYON, PASSES AWAY - Obituary

. Mrs. Mary Runyon, 57, of 205 West Locust Street, passed away this morning at the Richland Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.
. She was a lifelong resident of Richland County and was born in German township, the daughter of Milton Boatman and Lucy Sager Boatman. She was married to Frank N. Runyon on January 10, 1933 and he preceded her in death on April 25, 1971. Mrs. Runyon was baptized into the St. James Lutheran Church and became affiliated with the West Main Street Congregational-Christian Church. She had been an employee of the Richland Memorial Hospital for the past several years.
. She leaves a son, Norman Runyon of Olney, and the following brothers and sisters: Harry Boatman, Ralph Boatman, Mrs. Elsie Schnepper and Mrs. Neva Curtis all of Olney, Mrs. Daisy Steury of Mattoon, Mrs. Opal McMillan of Venus, Fla., and Mrs. Bernice Brassie of Long Beach, Cal. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
. Besides her parents and her husband she has been preceded in death by a brother, Claude Boatman, who died in infancy.
. Funeral services for Mrs. Runyon will be held on Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the Memorial Chapel of the Summers-Marshall Funeral Home with the Rev. Norvin T. Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Maple Dale Cemetery.
. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
