Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Murphy Mortuary for Mrs. Helen L. Anders, 66, 110 John St., who died Sunday at 3:45 a.m. at Major Hospital. Mrs. Anders had been in failing health two years and hospitalized since July 23.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. James Horner officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary anytime.
Mrs. Anders was born July 28, 1908 in St. Paul, the daughter of William and Blanche (Dodds) Rutherford. On Oct. 23, 1931, she was married to George W. Anders, who survives.
Also surviving are two children, Mrs. Wallace (Marilyn) Brokering and Robert Dale Anders, Shelbyville; four grandchildren; and a brother and three sisters, James Rutherford and Mrs. Mabel Ellerman, both of St. Paul, Mrs. Robert (Fern) Dixon, Shelbyville, and Mrs. Goldie New, Frankfort. A daughter, Betty Jane, preceded in death.
