Mrs. Ruby Louise Hanvy Fry, 79, retired restaurant manager, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at Azalea Gardens Healthcare in Perkinston, Mississippi.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Blowing Springs Cemetery with Mr. Milton Hicks officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 12 noon until 1:30p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Arzo Hanvy and Avie Grey Kennedy Hanvy. On November 11, 1943 she married Maburn Louis Fry who preceded her in death December 13, 1976. She attended the Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters Mrs. Wilma June (Orville Wayne) Smith of Perkinston, Mississippi and Ms. Linda Kay Fry of Knoxville; three grandchildren, Roger (Michelle) Smith of Nashville, Bethany Peery and Brittany Peery both of Knoxville; one great-grandson, Alexander Smith of Nashville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Hanvy, Effie McKinnon, Pearl Roberts and five brothers, Leonard Hanvy, Raymond Hanvy, Coy Hanvy, Homer Hanvy and Elbert Â"BusterÂ" Hanvy.

Pallbearers will be family members.
