The Fort Wayne native was a veteran of World War II, worked for 15 years for Pennsylvania Railroad and retired in 1982 for Central Supply after 12 years.
Surviving are sisters, Virginia Reed and Dorothy Huffman, both of Fort Wayne.
Services are noon Friday in C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 Wells St., where calling is 10 a.m. to noon Friday. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery. Preferred memorials are gifts to Defiance County Hospice.
