Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home with visitation one hour before services. Burial will be in Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg, with military rites conducted at the cemetery.
Mr. Baker was born in Derby, IN., the son of Henry and Nannie (Little) Baker. He was affiliated with the Warrensburg United Methodist Church. He retired after 31 years of services from Signal Depot in Decatur and later form Avon, KY. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He married Beatrice Major on September 12, 1938 in St. Louis, MO.
Surviving are his wife; daughter, Mary Harmon and husband Charles of Decatur; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Emy Grabb in 1971, one sister and two brothers.
