Mrs. Mollie E. Kehm, nee Smith, wife of Irwin Kehm of Allentown, R.3, dies yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Allentown hospital. She had been admitted to the institution as a maternity patient Sunday morning and at 10:40 o'clock Sunday evening gave birth to a daughter. She was in her 39th year.
A daughter of the late Harry Smith and his wife Emma, nee Eck, she was born in Maxatawny township.
She was a member of Ziegel's church, Reformed wing, and of the Home Department of the Sunday school.
Besides her husband she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Emma Smith: three sons, James, Luther and Leroy at home; four daughters, Grace, Pauline, Ruth and the newborn infant; five stepdaughters, Mrs. Earl Herring, E. Fogelsville; Mrs. Catherine Diehl, Mrs. George Smith, both of Allentown, R.3; Pyrma and Arlene, at home; one sister, Mrs. Herbert Schneck, Alburtis; three brothers, Robert and Fred Smith of Macungie, R.1; George Smith, Allentown, R.3, and one step-sister, Mrs. John Giese of Shamrock.
Funeral services will be held from the late home Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will take place in Ziegel's church cemetery.
