John E. Erb
John Edward Erb of 466 Martin Ter., State College, died at his home Jan. 6, 1964. He was 60.
Born in Bellefonte on Aug. 9 1903, he was the son of Edward S. and Sarah E. Kline Erb. He was married to Helen C. Brown, who survives with two daughters, Mrs. Robert McRae of Chattanooga, Tenn. and Miss Maureen K. Erb, Moorsetown, N. J.; one sister, Mrs. Donald Lenker, Harrisburg, and three grandchildren.
Mr. Erb, a dairy inspector for the State of Pennslyvania, was a graduate of State College High School and of Penn. State, Class of 1927. He was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks, No. 1600, both of State College and Kappa Delta Rho fraternity.
Furneral services were held at the Koch Funeral Home in State College, Jan. 9 with Rev. Nelson H. Frank officiating. Interment was in the Centre County Memorial Park.
