Schley

Walter Schley, 51, of Maribel, died suddenly at his home Monday of a heart attack.

He had gone to work as usual in the morning when he was stricken and died a short time later.

He was born in Cooperstown in 1898 and in 1921 married Miss Hilda Rose. He operated a farm near Maribel for 21 years and 10 years ago moved into the village. Survivors are his wife; three brothers, Albert and Arthur, Maribel, Paul of Whitelaw; sister, Mrs. Rose Karnopp of Maribel.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Schley home and at 1:30 at St. Johns Lutheran church in the village. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Friends may call at the home until the hour of services.
