Nathaniel was the son of Israel and Bethiah Bosworth Peck. Isreal and Bethiah are buried in Newman cemetery, East Providence, RI. He married Sarah Field of Hatfield, MA, Oct. 25, 1709 and produced 6 children. His will is in the early records of Warren, RI., B.1.p.131. His oldest daughter, Mehitable, married Rev. Peleg Heath. The Town clerk recorded that; The Rev. Peleg Heath declared unto me the subscriber and to Bethiah Peck(the grandmother) his intentions to marry. See p. 248 of Ira Peck's 1868 book. The way it's written there, it looks as if he wanted to marry the grandmother! Not much is left of his tombstone as can be seen at the right.
