Tilla L. Dilliner

Funeral services for Tilla L. Dilliner will be conducted at 2 P.M. Thursday in the chapel of the First United Methodist Church with Dr. J. Harold Cates officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Cemetery under the direction of Steed-Todd Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dilliner, 93, died Tuesday morning at her home at 512 Rencher.
Pallbearers will be S.L. Costley, Marion Alexander, Archie Skeen, Rollie Wicker, W. W. McDonald and Clifford T. Skeen.
Mrs. Dilliner was born Nov. 27, 1879, near Hamilton, Iowa. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Arza Brown Lyman, She was one of nine children, six of whom preceded her in death. She taught school for 17 years in Iowa and Colorado.
At the turn of the century, the Lyman family migrated to northeastern Colorado as home steaders.
Tilla was married to Frank A. Dilliner of Eddyville, Iowa, in 1902. They were parents of one daughter, Mayrece Ione Dilliner. The family moved to Clovis, in 1918 and Dilliner passed away in 1962.
Mrs. Dilliner was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Clovis. She worked in the primary department of the Sunday School for some twenty years and was active in the circles of the church.
She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star and received her 50 - year membership in 1969. She served Keystone Chapter as secretary for 36 years and was secretary emeritus at the time of her death. She was an honorary member of the Past Matrons Club of Clovis.
She was an active member of the Rebekah Lodge for 57 years and was a Past Noble Grand of that organization. She also served as secretary of the Rebekahs numerous times.
Mrs. Dilliner is survived by her daughter, Mayrece of the home; a sister, Martha Quasbarth of Grandview, Wash.; and one brother Ben Lyman of Dailey, Colo.
