Tommie Lee Hinton was born on August 15, 1936 in Pampa, Texas to Arthur & Juanita (Schuster) Hinton. He passed from this life on March 3, 2007 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years, 6 months & 16 days.

Tommie came with his family to this area as a small boy and had lived in the Liberty community since 1974. He was proud to have served his country as a member of the United States Army. He worked as a mechanic for over 30 years for Richardson Motors and Siggi-Grimm Motors before his retirement. When he was not working, he enjoyed collecting antiques, fishing, woodworking, dogs and "piddling".

He is survived by his loving wife, Norma (Morgan) Hinton, whom he married on August 31, 1957 in Tulsa as well as by 3 children; Jan Caughron and husband Oscar, of Liberty Mounds, David Hinton and wife Alice, of Trenton, Ohio & Becky Fortson and husband Rob, of Waco, Texas, 1 brother; Bill Hinton of Tulsa, 6 grandchildren; Wesley Caughron, Stephanie Caughron, Sabrina Roach, Hayley Fortson, Hunter Fortson & Hope Fortson, 1 great-granddaughter; Olivia Caughron and several nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Casket bearers were Mark Morgan, Joel Morgan, Trent Broomfield, Mike Morgan, Clay Morgan & Rodney Hinton.
