Frances was born in Hominy, Oklahoma, to Jesse Cleveland Sykes and Rissie (Johnson) Sykes on April 15, 1944. She was married to James Hull in Pawnee, Oklahoma in 1967. For most of her working life, Frances worked as a kitchen aide in a nursing home. She enjoyed fishing, bingo, gardening, sewing, reading, and especially being with her family. Frances was of the Baptist faith. Her family and friends will miss her greatly.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents Jessie and Rissie Sykes; husband James Hull in 1997; brothers Oscar and Rueben Sykes; and sister Rosie Haggie.
Services for Frances will be Monday, August 25, 2008, at 1:00 P.M. in the Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service Chapel. The Rev. Sandra Howell will officiate. Burial will follow at Powell Cemetery in Hominy, Oklahoma. Visitation will be Sunday, August 24, 2008, from 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
