She was born on August 10, 1923. She was co-founder of Bob's Grocery in Grannis and was a loving mother, grandmother, a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norville H. "Tuffy" Phillips; and a son, Norville Wayne Phillips; and her parents, Jess and Johnnie Gentry.
She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Phillips and Bob Phillips of Grannis; one daughter, Sue Gibson of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; a special granddaughter, Candi Frachiseur of Grannis; five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Phillips will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in the Chapel Hill Cemetery with Roger Robbins officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
