Donald W. Abramson, 81, of Lancaster, died Sunday, January 28, 2007 at Maple Farm Nursing Center. Born March 24, 1925 in State College, he was the son of the late H. D. and Ida (Resides) Abramson. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy I. Abramson, of Lancaster.

Mr. Abramson had been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Commercial Travelers Men's Club, the 7th Ward, Benevolent Protective Order of Elks Ephrata, VFW Lititz, and the PA Motor Truck Association. In years past, Donald owned an airplane and enjoyed flying.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters: Alice, wife of the late James Housman, of Lancaster, and Eileen, wife of Micheal Floyd, of Lititz; six grandchildren: Davetta, James, Sherry, Angela, Pamela, and Sean; and six great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services at the Gundel Funeral Home, Inc., 415 North Duke St., Lancaster, 11:00 a.m. Thursday. Viewing will be prior to the service; from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Conestoga Memorial Park.
