Earl Carver, 72 218 No. Hernando Avenue, died at his home May 27. He was born in Alachua County, Florida, but spent his entire life in DeSoto County. He was a Fence Contractor for the cattle industry and of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Carver, Arcadia; one son, Earl Carver, Jr., Labelle, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Norma Dykes, Live Oak, Florida, Mrs. Edith Blackburn, Sarasota, Fla., Mrs. Peggy Royce, Dutch Islands.; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral Services were held May31 at 2 p.m. from the Robarts-Grady Chapel with Rev. O.K. Collier officiating. Burial was in Joshua Creek Cemetery. Robarts-Grady Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
