PARK HILL – Betty Jean Casady was born in Tahlequah to Victor C. and Edna S. (Cookson) Sharum on Jan. 29, 1944. She departed from this life in Muskogee on Dec. 30, 2008, at the age of 64 years, 11 months, and 1 day.
Betty was a 1962 graduate of Tahlequah High School. She married Harold Casady in Okemah, on July 6, 1965.
She loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold Casady, three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by a loving family which includes one daughter, Amy Cook and husband John of Tahlequah; one brother, George Sharum and wife Glenda of Tahlequah; and two grandchildren, Randi and Zoie. Many friends and other relatives also survive her.
Graveside services were held Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at Park Hill Cemetery in Park Hill.Reed-Culver Funeral Home, 117 W. Delaware, 456-2551.
