Mildred B. Kiger, 78, of Waynesburg RD 3, died at 4:15 P.M. Monday, Jan. 23, 1989, in the Presbyterian Medical Center of Washington following a lengthy illness.

Born Feb. 16, 1910, in Kirby, she was a daughter of William and Stella Headlee Fox.

Her entire life was spent in Greene County. She was a member of the First Nazarene Church of Waynesburg and a housewife.

Her husband, Daws S. Kiger, whom she married Sept. 12, 1929, survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Shirley) Shahan Jr. of Amity; a son, Kinsey Allen Kiger of Washington; three grandchildren, Mrs. Larry (Pattie) Staggers, Danny Shahan and Chris Kiger; and one great-granddaughter.

Deceased are two brothers, Ray and Chauncey Fox.
