Nannie Knotts Lemley, 90, of Mt. Morris, an aunt of movie and television star Don Knotts, died at 11:45 a.m. Friday, January 5, 1990, at her home.
She was born October 23, 1899, in Perry Township, where she was a housewife. She was the oldest member of Claughton Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women.
Her husband, Ansel Arl Lemley, died October 29, 1986.
Deceased are four sisters, Arizona Ruth Kiger, Clem Guthrie, Dora Renner and Anna Moore; and six brothers, Ira, Frank, Lawrence, Lambert, Johnnie and Jesse, the father of Don Knotts.
She was the last of her immediate famly.
