Dr. Carl Fink, 88, of Fredericksburg died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2001 in Knapp Nursing Home No. 1.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 22, at 10 a. m., in Beckmann Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Monte Marschall officiating. Marilyn Jenkins was the organist and Dr. Rollie Blondeau, the vocalist. Interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Dr. Fink was born in Hot Springs, AR. On Aug. 1, 1913, the son of William Fink and Minnie Jasper Fink. He married Mary Belle Dedman on June 25, 1942 in Del Rio and she survives.
He was a veterinarian and a veteran of World War II.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Linn Fink of Fredericksburg, and a daughter, Carla Barron of Austin, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Texas Hearing and Service Dogs or to the charity of choice.
Pallbearers were Jeffrey Fink, Michael Fink, Todd Fink, Glen Bridge, Earl Dedman, Bill Fink and Tillman Richey.
