Services were at 2 PM Sunday at Ridgeway Morticians for Elvie Olean Baker of Highway 79 southwest of Paris. Jerry Gallimore and Brian Anderson officiated. Entombment was in Rose Lawn Mausoleum in Paris. Visitation was Saturday and Sunday.

Pallbearers were Jerry and Donald Bell, Keith Cook, Pete Riggs, Alvin Parker and Jerry Clements.

Mrs. Baker, 62, died Friday, April 19, 1996, at Henry County Medical Center.

Born March 13, 1934, In Ridgely, she was a daughter of Alexander and Nellie Gray Bell, both deceased. She was married April 23, 1951, to James D Baker, who survives. A Baptist, she worked in production at Emerson Electric in Paris.

She also is survived by two daughters: Patricia Mustin of Christmasville and Norma Watson of Paris; two sons: Don Baker of Dyersburg and James A. Baker of Caseville, Mich.; two sisters: Paulene Thomas of Dyersburg and Addie Clements of Chicago; and a brother: Delbert Bell of Obion.

She also leaves 12 grandchildren: April Patel, Tara McGuire, Nicholas Trull, Lyndsey Watson and Daniel, Robin, Christy, James Roy, Jace Daniel, Jake, Jayla Mae and Amanda Kay Baker.

She also was preceded in death by a sister: Elsie Camper; and two brothers: Buford and Odie Bell
