Freda Juanita Allen, 76, Pleasant Hope, passed away at 11:10 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2008, in her home. She was born March 2, 1932, in Lebanon, Missouri, to Harvey and Zona (Evans) Stark. She was married to Wilbur Allen for over 61 years, and was a mother to everyone. Juanita had many friends. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; a son, B.J. Allen; three brothers; a sister; two granddaughters; and a great-grandson. She is survived by her husband, Wilbur; six sons, Steve and wife, Carol of Springfield, Bob and wife, Kathi of Republic, Tom of Springfield, Chris and wife, Charlotte of Humansville, Larry and wife, Paula of Arizona, and Bill and wife, Pam of Seymour, Mo.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters, Opal Cantrell and Ruby Meyers of Miami, Okla., Golda Carr of Nevada, and Alma Jean Koski of Ft. Collins, Colo.; two brothers, Harold Dean Stark of Springfield, Mo. and Wayne Stark of Fallon, Nev. Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2008, with prayer service at 6 p.m., in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home Chapel, 500 E. Walnut. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, in St. Agnes Cathedral, with Fr. Mike McDevitt, celebrant. Burial will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
