Capt. Broward was the son of Napoleon Bonaparte Broward of Duval County (1829-1870) and Mary Dorcas Parsons of New Hampshire(1835-1869). His brother was the former governor of Florida. Montcalm married Sarah Helen Copp on March 18, 1885. He is buried beside her in this cemetery. Their children are listed under her record.
