Barbara Jean passed away at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

She grew up in Port Arthur and graduated from Bishop Byrne High School in 1956. She attended Port Arthur College and then worked for Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator. She attended St. James Catholic Church for most of her life.

She married Terry Doyle in 1959 and they had two children Kelly Durso and Paddy Doyle. She lived her whole life in Port Arthur, except for a time in Austin in the early sixties.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Jenny Palermo, and two brothers Joe and Eddie Palermo.

She was survived by her husband Terry and her children and three sisters, Jenny Catalina, Liz Vidrine and Shirley Rice, the wife of Herb Rice; grandchildren Jake and Delanie Durso, the children of Kelly and Mark Durso and Beau and Mason the children of Paddy and Bonita Doyle the grandparents of Jackson Slaughter.
