Son of Herman Henry Bauman and Frances Marie (Horchner) Bauman.

Haven, Kansas ----- Henry A. Bauman, 78, died Tuesday night at Hutchinson Hospital following a short illness. Born July 1, 1898, at Germantown, Wis., he married Meta Mueller Aug. 17, 1919, in Haven. She died in 1974. He was retired farmer and had lived at Haven since he was a young boy.

He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son: Kenneth, Haven; sisters: Mrs. Frieda Heintz, San Jose, Calif.; Mrs. Florence Rumbaugh, Haven; two grandsons.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at the church; Rev. D. J. Sprick. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call evening at Cantwell Chapel.
