Forest Otto Blair married Margaret Emily Ayers. They had several children including Dorsey Luther Blair, Bryce (Brice) Blair,and Ira Burnard Blair all boys. They also had at least one daughter named Emily Weatha Blair. They lived (at the time of his death) in Koons Run, West Virginia. Forest had Dorsey, and he had me. So this is my grandfather on my Dad's side. Forest's mother was Isabelle (Holmes) Blair, and David Blair, both of West Virginia as well. I don't know much about my grandfather, but I know that times were tough in that coal mining community. Forest buried his son, Bryce, with a skull injury due to a mine collapse in the early 1930's. He died from a heart problem at the age of 63.
