Ozely Eldon Preas, 79, of 820 W Brame, died Tuesday Oct., 2 at St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at the Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cary Robinson officiating.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Preas was born June 26, 1911 in Cooper, the son of John and Sally Cooley Preas. He married Alma McIllwain Oct. 3, 1975 in Paris. He was a member of the Lakeway Baptist Church and served in the Army during WWII. Survivors include his wife, five stepdaughters, Mary Louise Garcia of Sante Fe, New Mexico, Lois Darnold of Riodoso, NM, Marjorie Lizer of Albuquerque, NM, Alma West of Albuquerque, NM, and Irene Moore of El Paso, two stepsons, Isaac Weaver of Anthony, NM, and Lynn Weaver of Santa Marie Calif; two brothers
Lendon Preas and Weldon Preas of Dallas, three sisters, Ruby Nix and Jewel Evans of Dallas and Debbie Ruth Crowell of Tulsa, Okla; 19 grandchildren and ten grandchildren.
