Hushour was active with Boy Scout troops 536, 170 and 356. He also volunteered for the Keller Store House Food Bank. He was a car and train enthusiast.
Survivors: wife Carylon Hushour; daughter Carrie Taylor and her husband, Mike; sons Darren Hushour and Larry Hushour and his wife, Mary; step-sons Tim Smith and Chris Smith; step-daughters Jennifer Dunlap and Erin Moore and her husband, Joddy; eight grandchildren; and brother Jerry Hushour and his wife, Betty.
Should friends desire, memorials may be given to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital, or the Missionary Fund for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
