Robert "Bob" Shoopman, 71, Webster, Fla., formerly of Somerset, died Saturday, Sept. 13, at his residence in Webster.
He was born in Somerset on April 11, 1915, the son of the late Robert L. and Rosa Unger Shoopman. He was a retired broadcasting engineer for radio station WSFC.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Floyd Shoopman; four daughters, Johanna Anderson, Solona Beach, Calif., Sue Ann Losey, McLean, Va., Lana Sears Clinton, LeHigh, Fla., and Bobbie Hahn, Somerset; a brother, Bertram H. Shoopman, Somerset; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Julian Shoopman; and two sisters, Lula Bugg and Gertrude Phillips.
Services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with the Rev. Sammie Adkins officiating.
Burial will be in Somerset Cemetery.
