The funeral service of John P. Forbis, who died yesterday evening, June 7, 1939, at the home of Leonard Stone, was held this afternoon at the Red Rock Methodist
Church with the Reverend Ned Hill of Hallsville, conducted the service. Mr. Forbis, who was born in Missouri in 1858, is survived by two brothers, Greene Forbis of Boone County and Jeff Forbis of Columbia, and by two sisters, Mrs. Phoebe Stone and Mrs. Mildred McKenzie, both of Boone County.
