Promoted First Sergeant; Second Lieutenant April 19, 1864. Wounded and taken prisoner June 11, 1864, Ripley, Miss. Promoted First Lieutenant .Aug. 25, 1864; Captain Jan. 6, 1865; not mustered. Killed in action April 16 1865, Columbus, Ga. Buried in National Cemetery, Andersonville, Ga. Grave 12,865.
