William Alexander Hill was born September 20, 1816 in Washington County, Kentucky. His parents were Clement Hill and Mary "Polly" Hamilton Hill. He was married to Ann Litha Dailey. He was in the Civil War. 13th Army Corps, Union Regiment, Twentieth Kentucky Infantry, Company I, rank of private. Died of typhoid fever in the General Hospital No. 2 in Bardstown on March 9, 1862. He is buried in Lebanon National Cemetery, plot 713, Lebanon, Marion County, Kentucky. Taken from "Thomas Hill and Rebecca Miles Ancestors and Descendants" by Sister Mary Louise Donnelly, 1984.
