Laura LeShay (Shay) Campbell, 15 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Sunday, January 11, 2009, at her home.





Ms. Campbell was born February 24, 1993 in Jackson, Tennessee. She was a student at the Huntingdon High School . She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Donald Campbell and maternal grandmother, Retha (Meme) Boyd.

She is survived by her father, Allen Campbell of Lavina, mother, Lacey Roberts (husband Bobby), maternal grandfather, Billy Joe Umstead (wife Rita) of Westport, paternal grandmother, Dana Long (husband Ben) of Atwood. One brother, Cody Campbell of Lavina, seven aunts, Laura Brown, Flannery Umstead, Anita Wildridge, Melinda Shoemate, Peggy DePriest, Mary Pinson, Sharon Phillips, four uncles, Joey Umstead, Terry Umstead, David Thomas and Donald Campbell. She also leaves an adopted grandmother, Virginia Payne, special friend, Dakota Williams, nana, Melissa Carter, a host of cousins, friends and other relatives.

She was a victim of murder.
