Aaron was the son of Timothy W. & Sarah (Crane) Day. He and Rachel (Debolt) Day were married 9 March 1820 in Hamilton County, Ohio. In May 1848, they purchased 35 acres of land in Chariton County, MO -- Sec 7 (in NW quarter), Twnshp 54, Range 17.

In 1850, Day and his family lived in Prairie Township, Chariton County, MO. In 1860, they lived in the Brunswick area of the county.

Children: Elmira, Diantha, Artemas, Ambrose, and Phoebe.

Aaron's nephew Timothy Crane Day (1819-1869) served in the U. S. Congress as an Ohio representative in the 1850s.

Like many markers in this abandoned cemetery. Day's stone rests on the ground, undoubtedly moved from its original location to free up space for farming.
