Mrs Hannah Spence, one of the venable women of our little city and a pioneer citizen of our state, died last Thrusday night after an illness of many months.
Two or three years ago the health of this good woman failed and early this year her illness grew severe and she became a great sufferer.
Mrs Spence was in her seventy fifth year and is survived by two children and several grandchildren.
For many years she had been a member of the Baptist church, living the Christian life and rejoicing in the hope of a Christians reward.
The burial was at Oakwood Friday following the funeral service, which was conducted by Rev Bonnie Grimes.
