A Brother of S. H. Agnew, the Merchant at Kipp.
DIED IN KANSAS CITY HOSPTIAL
Was an Early Saline County Settler But Has Lately Been in Wyoming and Idaho.
B. F. Agnew, brother of S. H. Agnew, the Kipp merchant, died Thursday in St. Margaret’s hospital at Kansas City, Kas. He had been in the hospital a long time and suffered with a complication of diseases.
He was born in Pennsylvania 42 years ago. Many years ago he came with his brother to Saline county and they located near Kipp. He remained here until about 15 years ago, when he went west, locating at different places in Montana and Idaho.
Later he went to Kansas City, was taken sick and was sent to the hospital. He gradually failed, and became weaker until the then Thursday.
He was unmarried and his surviving relatives are his brother, S. H. Agnew, and a sister living in Pennsylvania. He was well known in this county, especially to the earlier settlers.
The body was sent from Kansas City to Kipp and the funeral services were held today at the brother’s home in that city. The remains were brought to Salina this afternoon and interment made in Gypsum Hill cemetery.
