Audrey Charlotte is the daughter of Charles Francis "Max" Mermillion 1892-1959 and Georgia Carter 1892-1970. It appears that her mother divorced Charles Mermillion and took back her maiden name. Her mother remarried to Charles Felix Montamat 1902-1981 and he was "Daddy" to Audrey and her sister Lucy M. 1913-1990. Lucy was married and divorced from Paul Emerson.

Audrey married John Henry Crews 1902-1985 on November 21, 1934. They had one daughter, Cynthia Merle.

Obituary:
SAN LEANDRO--Final rites will be held for Mrs. Audrey C. Crews, 42, of 1280 147th Ave., at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at Santos & Robinson Chapel, 160 Estudillo Ave. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Robert Moon of the First Methodist Church. Interment will be at Lone Tree cemetery, Hayward. Mrs. Crews leaves her husband, John H. Crews; a daughter, Cynthia M. Crews, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Montamat, all of San Leandro. A sister, Mrs. Lucy Emerson, also survives. Mrs. Crews, who was a native of Louisiana, had been a resident of San Leandro for 15 years. Her death followed a lengthy illness. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
