Ethlyn "Essie" Eliza Larsen Bradley, 98, died April 26, 1992, at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 4, 1894, in Spring City, a daughter of John and Eliza Jane Beuhanin Larsen. She married Bigelow Bradley, April 12, 1917 in Farmington. Their marriage was later soleminzed in the Manti LDS Temeple. He died in 1969.

She recieved her education in Spring City. After their marriage, the Bradleys lived in Salt Lake City and Mammoth. For the last 40 years the family home was in Provo.
She was an active memeber of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of her life, having served in many positions in the Relief Society and the Primary organizations. She served as a visiting teacher for approximately 60 years.

She enjoyed music, needlework and her close asscociation with her family and friends.

She is survived by one son and three daughters, Dr. Donald B. Bradley, Mrs. Donald A. (Maudella) Viertel, Mrs. Wallace R. (Faye) Hansen, all Provo; Mrs. John M. (Carma Jane) Hafen, Springville; 22 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her eldest son, Dr. Rulon L. Bradley.

Funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Berg Mortuary, 185 E. Center, Provo. Friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services at the mortuary.
Burial in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
