Charles "Chad" Tuggle, 84, of Maroa died 6 a.m. Saturday in his home.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home in Maroa, with visitation after 5 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg. Rev. Wallace Watson and Rev. David Gaffron officiated.
He was born August 10, 1891 in Austin Township, Macon County, a son of Isaac and Ida Carson Tuggle. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Macon County Farm Bureau.
He married Rosabel Binkley on May 10, 1913 in St. Louis, Mo.
She survives along with a daughter, Mrs. Imogene Powers of Minneapolis, MN.; sisters, Mrs. Verna Major of Warrensburg; Mrs. Hazel Buckley of Argenta and Mrs. Marjorie Cozad of Decatur; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A daughter and son, and two brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
