Alta Andrews Ayers died last week, daughter of Judge JH Andrews, born Rutland Co, VT, in 1809. She married Rev Joseph Ayers at Rutland Co, VT, in 1829. She was the last of a family of 8, was the mother of 7 children of whom 3 survive: Dr JH Ayers of Urbana, Mrs Scranton and Mrs Carey of Toledo. Buried Oak Dale Cemetery.
