(2) Dora E. Hale, married 11 Jul 1882 in Lawrence Co., TN and were the parents of two daughters, Bessie E. and Lola. Dora died in 1886.
(3) E. Dora Pullen, married 5 Feb 1888 in Lawrence Co., TN. They later divorced in 1902, but had no children.
(4) Aquilla "Quilla" Alsup, married 21 Aug 1904 in Lawrence Co., TN. Aquilla died in 1957 in Texas and is buried there. She and Richard were the parents of nine children.
Mr. McMackin was the son of Andrew Jackson "Andy" and Josephine Estes McMackin. Josephine died in 1858, about two months after the birth of her son, Richard Allison McMackin. Andy McMackin's second wife was Martha Jane Estes whom he married in April of 1860.
Josephine Willis Pickard, who is the great, granddaughter of Richard A. McMackin, lists her great, grandfather's place of birth as St. Florine, Lauderdale Co., AL.
Mr. McMackin's Tennessee Death Certificate lists his birth place as Tennesse as does several U. S. Federal census for Lawrence Co., TN.
