Funeral services for Lillian Gibbs Moffett were at 10 a.m. Friday, February 4, 2000 in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Doyle McGrew officiated. Burial was in the Siloam Cemetery near Dodson.
Mrs. Moffett, 86 of Dodson, died Wednesday, February 2, 2000 in the Winn Parish Medical Center in Winnfield. She was a Winn Parish native and was a Baptist. She was a homemaker.
Survivors are one son, Richard Moffett of Dodson, LA; three sisters, Faye Temple of Winnfield, Maybelle Babers and Ardell Wade, both of Goldonna, LA; one grandson, Randal Dewayne Moffett, two great grandsons, Christopher Dewayne Moffett and Brian David Moffett of Northlett, AR; two step great granddaughters, Melissa Nichole Mooney and Robyn Denise Hunter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Winston Moffett, Jr., and a son, Jerry Wayne Moffett.
Pallbearers were: Jimmy Usery, Ronald Babers, Buford Smallings, Wesley Horton, David Caskey, Mitch Wade and Mark Gibbs.
Honorary Pallbearers were: Odell Temple and Donnie Gibbs.
