Mrs. Ida Jackson, wife of Elza
Jackson, died suddenly Christmas
night at 8:30 o'clcok after an ill-
ness of several years.
She was born November 11, 1860
in Fulton county and was 72 years
old at the time of her death. In 1878
April 11, she married Elza Jackson.
To this union were born six child-
ren, two of whom preceded her in
death.
Surviving children are Flora, a
teacher in Roosevelt school; Dud-
ley of Washington D.C., Albert of
Columbus, Ind., and Mrs. Hazel
Leslie of Clarksburg, West Va.,
three grandsons, Robert Leslie,
Bertram Jackson and George Jack-
son; a granddaughter, Betty Jack-
son and one great grandson, Low-
ell Jackson.
The Funeral will be held Wednes-
day afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from
Chase chapel with Elder Joyce of
the Seventh Day Adventist church
of Indianapolis in charge. He will
be assisted by the Rev. J. S. Cor-
key. Burial will be made in the Mt.
Hope cemetery.
