Leo Menzo Jennings was the son of George A. & Elizabeth Jane Richardson Jennings. He was a second cousin of William Jennings Bryan. He was married to Sarah Rosetta Makeever 9 Apr 1885 in La Salle County, IL., where he continued to live. He was listed as an iron molder on the 1880 La Salle County federal census. Later he was listed as a baker, a grocer, and a salesman of produce. The 1900 census lists two sons, Leo R., b. Jan 1889 and Davies, b. Jan 1895.
