Margaret Rebecca "Bobbie" Aday, age 86, of Leighton, Ala., died Friday, Jan. 2, 2009.

Visitation was Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at Colbert Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, at Nitrate City Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church one hour before services. Brother Robert Moritz and Brother Chris Aday are officiating.

Mrs. Aday was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Howard Autry Aday; parents, Elvin and Verna Keenum; two brothers, Taylor and L.C. Keenum; four sisters, Lona Ledlow, Louise Conner, Elizabeth Simmons and Ann Grissom; great-grandson, Kent Aday; and great-granddaughter, Christina Lewis.

Survivors include four sons, Billy H. Aday, of Muscle Shoals, Kenneth and wife, Deb Aday, of Hatton community, Raymond L. and wife, Deborah Aday, of Leighton, and Chris and wife, Kelley Aday, of Corinth, Miss.; one daughter, Rebecca and husband, Dwight Morgan, of Muscle Shoals; 14 grandchildren, Melissa and husband, Jerry Duncan, Trish McIntyre, Ken and wife, Aimee Aday, Kelly Aday, Scott and wife, Shelly Morgan, Jason Morgan, Ryan L. Aday (Kelli), Justin Aday and his financee, Alexis Keene, Lexi, Lauren, Liv, Lainey Grace, Noah and Gage Aday; four great-grandchildren, Megan and husband, Monte Peterson, Zach Vinson, Caleb McIntyre, Hannah Morgan; one great-great-grandchild, Lynnlee Petersen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Aday was a loving mother and a cherished grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, known to them as Mama Aday.

She was a charter member of Nitrate City Baptist Church and was a practicing dynamic Christian.
