Samuel James Allen, 58, of Nacogdoches, passed away January 6, 2007 at his home. He was born April 7, 1948 in San Francisco, California to James Sydney Allen and Mary Frances Edwards Allen. Sam loved music, children, and played the guitar and piano. He was of the Baptist Faith and served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at Saint's Rest Cemetery in Nacogdoches. Honorary pallbearers will be James Colwell, Sr., Douglas Windham, Clarence Stockton, Rayford Fountain and James Colwell, Jr.
