Hairstylist. Jim had three older sisters and one younger brother, numerous in-laws and nieces and nephews. He graduated from Clare High School in 1978, and entered the U.S. Air Force. He was married twice and had three daughters. Jim worked at several hair salons around Michigan, most recently at the Mount Pleasant J.C. Penney store. After being hit by a car on Broomfield and Mission in Mount Pleasant on July 18, 2003, Jim was hospitalized and comatose due to multiple injuries. He died two days later, 43 years old. During funeral services at the Berry Funeral Home in Shepherd, Michigan visitors spoke often of Jim's love of family, his kindness, his laugh, and his ability to cut hair.
