James T. "Bud" Bolen, 69, died Saturday, January 10, 2009 in Tupelo, Ms. Bolen, born Feb. 19, 1939, to the late Charles T. and Vernie Berry Bolen in Springville, was a retired route salesman for Wonder and Colonial Bread Companies. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Oxford.
Survivors include: his wife, of 46 years, Peggy Jean Stroupe Bolen of Batesville; one daughter, Vicki Bolen Aldison and husband, Certy of Batesville; two sons, Keith Bolen and wife, Lisa of Crowder and Kevin Bolen and wife, Jennifer of New Albany; two sisters, Jane Bolen Hayzlett of Crenshaw and Patsy Bolen Barnett of Sardis; three brothers, William Bolen of Southaven, Gary Bolen of Water Valley and Wayne Bolen of Crenshaw and seven grandchildren, Brooke Bolen, Tyler Bolen, Morgan Aldison, Robert Aldison, Loden Bolen, Luke Bolen and Jeb Bolen.
